Gold rush areas here include Bango and Pulang Lupa.
Within Brgy. Ngan are the Four Brothers Bongkilaton Caves (Sitio Bongkilaton), the 60-m. high and wide Pansan Falls, San Juan Falls and Tagbubunlas Falls.
Also within the vicinity of the town are Aliwagwag Falls, Kiokmay Falls, Upper Ambawan Falls, the 200-m. high Kumaykay-Linupakan Falls (Brgy. Panansalan) and Mainit Hot Springs.

Places of interest within the vicinity of the town include Baobo Falls, Bimasbas Cave, Lake Buhi and Upper Ampawid Falls.

Migum Falls, in Brgy. Upper Cabuyan, is located 7 kms. from poblacion. Within Barangay Anitapan are the Enchanted Lake of Anitapan and Rock Garden Falls (located 40 kilometers from the poblacion).
The 17-hectare Lunod Island, situated west of the town, is a 15-min. boat ride from Brgy. Pindasan. About 65% of the island is covered with lush mangroves.
The beautiful, 60-m. high Gumabon Falls, in Bunglas, is an easy and safe 3-4-hour (13-km.) hike through gentle inclines, several river crossings and small waterfalls and a rainforest inhabited by monkeys and exotic birds including the hornbill. The falls is hidden on a cleft deep in the forest. Bring a guide.
Other places of interest within the vicinity of the town include Kupiat Island.

Mainit Hot Spring National Park, in Brgy. Mainit, 14 kms.
From Nabunruran, is where two rivers fed by hot and cold springs, respectively meet to form a lukewarm swimming area.
Other places of interest within the vicinity of the town include Langgam Falls, Leonard River Falls, Libaylibay Falls, Maduaw Falls, Mainit Falls, Manipongol Falls, Panibasan Falls, Tagmanaco Falls, and Lake Leonard Kniaseff.
