Angel Abosolo, and destroyed, together with convent, during the January 17, 1875 typhoon.   The church’s graceful, five-storey belltower, on the left side of the church, has five bells of different sizes, all brought in 1881 by Fr. Lesmes Perez.

  • Suhot Cave, located 2 kms. from the town and 300 m. off the highway, is an 18-km. long, multi-chambered cave, one of the longest in the country.  It has curious formations of stalactites and stalagmites, a natural bridge and an ice-cold underground river with a swimming hole that it feeds outside the cave’s entrance.  Said to be connected by a tunnel to Dumarao’s Badiang Cave, it would take about 7 days to traverse the cave.  About 2 kms. can be explored.
